What was windows 7 codename
I am also willing to say no. Microsoft has never once mentioned "Vienna" or "Blackcomb" in any of the Windows 7 builds we have. They've all just said "Windows 7". I know there's been Vienna and Blackcomb mentioned in the past before, but there's been absolutely no proof as to these builds existing, or these codenames being anything more than just some random ramblings on the internet.

This was right after Vista launch, and I remember posting a picture of Windows Vienna on the poster - if only I still had the poster.
Windows Vienna as it said at the time was to be the next version of Windows circa There was some material there referring to the next Windows Server. I was pretty excited to have this bit of insider information, despite it not really affecting me in any way.
